As a Hispanic Serving Institution, we believe we have a special responsibility to increase access to higher education and support the efforts of our Hispanic students to complete their degrees, which, in turn, will help enable the bright futures of all our students. UTSA’s Hispanic Thriving Institution Leadership Council is guiding this important work, advising the university’s efforts to provide the highest quality education to advance social mobility and economic opportunities for Latino students and their communities.
